Built in the early summer of 2010, the Screening Room is Naked City’s seventy-five person dining movie theater and community gathering space. Featuring a thirty-six foot cinema screen bordered by a mural from Tasha Riedman, the Screening Room hosts free original programs every month, including Think & Drink with Humanities Washington, Silenced Films with DJ Nicfit, Idiot Brotherz! with Devin Badoo and Dan Duarte, and jazz with the Shawn Mickelson Quartet. In 2013, the Screening Room once again hosted the kick-off to SIFF's Film Noir Festival, and the second annual encore screenings of Northwest Film Forum's Local Sightings Audience Award-winning feature and short films.
On occasion, the Screening Room may be reserved for public and private events, screenings, and weddings. To inquire further, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
